Special Concert

SPECIAL OCCASIONS IN EXTRAORDINARY LOCATIONS

Since 2009, a Special Concert is performed and recorded annually as a third TV event of the Vienna Philharmonic in extraordinary locations around the world with specific historic themes. For example, in the Royal Opera of the Palace of Versailles in 2018 in commemoration of the end of World War I. In the meantime, also these concert events are broadcast globally by many TV channels.
